    Keys are not given out for the Community Center -
    An Attendant will open and close the Community Center at times as specified for rental. Rental hours must be determined at the time final rental fee is paid. Rental time begins at the time the Community Center is opened and ends at the time the Community Center is closed. Should rental time go over time specified, additional charges will apply. All contents brought in by renters, suppliers, caterers must be removed by midnight. If additional openings/closings of Community Center are required, additional charges will apply.

    Large events requiring decorating are allowed two openings and two closings.

    Rental Includes: 

    Kitchen equipped with refrigerator, ovens/range, microwave and ice machine.


    Rental Does Not Include:

    Kitchen Dish Liquid, Kitchen Paper Towels, Sound System

    CONTENTS OF THE COMMUNITY CENTER ARE NOT TO BE REMOVED OR USED OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING. NOTHING MAY BE AFFIXED, TAPED, OR HUNG FROM THE CEILING OR WALLS OF THE COMMUNITY CENTER.

    The Community Center is not to be left open and unattended. It is the renter’s responsibility to have someone stay at the Community Center at all open times. It is especially important to have someone stay during wedding ceremonies held elsewhere if the Community Center has been rented for a Wedding Reception.

    The City of Bridge City does not provide attendants during functions.

    Functions at which alcoholic consumption at a function, an off-dutyBridge City Police Officer will be required at all times during the event at the fee of @ $30.00 per hour. The City of Bridge City will make a request for the off-duty officer and the renter will be responsible for paying the fee to the office the day of the event. The use of tobacco products is prohibited in the Community Center. The use of illegal substances is prohibited in the Community Center. No cooking or serving of fish or seafood is allowed in the building or on the premises.
