Purpose of the Senior Center
The primary purpose of the Bridge City Senior Citizen's Hall (the "Senior Center") is to provide a public facility where seniors in the Bridge City area can meet for social, recreational, educational, and fitness opportunities. In addition, the Senior Center is available for other community-related activities and programs which do not conflict with the primary purpose of the Senior Center.

Eligibility for Senior Citizen Programs
Any person living in the Bridge City and surrounding area who is 60 years of age or older is eligible to participate in the activities and programs established for seniors by the City of Bridge City and the Orange Community Action Association (OCAA). The OCAA is an independent agency, funded by grants and donations, to plan and coordinate services for older adults. Transportation to and from the Senior Center is furnished. OCAA provides a senior program including a hot meal on a daily basis, with donations accepted and persons must meet the guidelines set forth by OCAA. Ownership and Management of the Senior Center
The Senior Center is a public building owned by the City of Bridge City. Management of the Senior Center is supervised by the City of Bridge City Public Works Department. A site coordinator provides daily management of the facility.

Other Functions & Uses
The Senior Center may be used by other individuals and groups according to these Rules and Regulations for Operation, Use, and Rental of Bridge City Senior Citizen's Hall which have been approved by the City Council.
