WATER UTILITIES:

The City of Bridge City Utility office, located in the Municipal Building at 260 Rachal, [Turn off Texas Avenue (Hwy.87) at the US Post Office onto S. John Street. City Hall is at the end of S. John to the left.] handles service connections and disconnections, payments for water, garbage and wastewater.  Water Service Deposit is $100.00.   Each meter requires a $100 deposit.  Utility meters are read monthly and bills are mailed to customers by the fourth (4th) of every month.  Bills are due by the 18th of each month.  All payments received after the doors open (8:00 a.m.) on the 19th will be subject to a $10 late fee. All payments received after the doors open (8:00 a.m.) on the 29th will be disconnected from service and subject to a $30 reconnect fee.  Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  A drive-thru depository is available in front on City Hall for payments at all hours. SANITATION:

Allied Waste is the sanitation contractor with the City of Bridge City.  All garbage, trash, and recycling pick ups are done by Allied Waste.  Sanitation and recycling service dates are detailed on the following map.  All garbage, trash and recycling must be out by 7 a.m. on your scheduled pick-up day.

DUMPSTER SERVICE:

Also available to the Citizens of Bridge City is a dumpster located at the Public Works Facility on Nitche Street.  Hours of operation are Tuesday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except on holidays.  No household garbage and no hazardous materials are allowed.  There is a cost for this service based on size of each load.
