Inspections are required after obtaining permits. Building inspection consists of construction and demolition of residential and commercial properties inside the city limits. The building official/Inspector will review and approve prospective building plans. After construction has begun, a building inspector will perform a number of inspections to insure that the building meets local and state codes.
