LIBRARY:
The City of Bridge City Public Library, a 2,500 square foot facility is located at 101 Parkside Drive just off of W. Roundbunch adjacent to the Community Center. The library hosts 20,000 volumes and is a member of Houston Area Library System. Library Hours are 10:00 am - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Thursday and 9:00 am - 2:00 p.m. Friday. Phone (409) 735-4242

COMMUNITY CENTER:
Bridge City Community Center is a 7,400 square foot public facility available
for rental for large functions, meetings, wedding receptions, family reunions,
etc. Commodities are handed out on the 1st Thursday of each month at the

SENIOR
CITIZENS HALL:
The Bridge City Senior Citizen Hall provides meals, activities and health screenings for senior citizens, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Bridge City Senior Citizen Hall is also available for rental for smaller functions such as bridal/baby showers, birthday parties and small meetings. The Senior Citizen Hall is located behind the Community Center. Phone (409) 735-7773

PARK
WITH PAVILLION:
Also located adjacent to the Senior Citizen Hall is a 2,000 square foot open air pavilion with BBQ pits, picnic tables and playground equipment. Electricity and lighting is also available.

ANIMAL CONTROL:
The City of Bridge City has one Animal Control Officer. The officer works at the direction of the Chief of Police. The Animal Shelter is located at 295 Bower (409) 735-8898.
The City of Bridge City animal control ordinances requires all dogs be registered with the City. Tags are issued each year at a charge of $1 per dog, annual proof of rabies immunization is required. See the Customer Service Representatives at City Hall or the Animal Control Officer for more information regarding tags.

CODE ENFORCEMENT:
The City of Bridge City Code Enforcement and Inspections Department’s goal is to provide and maintain safe housing and public buildings for all citizens of Bridge City. Inspections are made to insure that commercial and residential buildings are safe and that all work performed is up to code.

- Water and sewer work

MUNICIPAL
COURT:
The Bridge City Municipal Court is located in the City Hall Municipal
Building at 260 Rachal. The Court office is open Monday through Friday,
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Arraignments are held on Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m.
- 11:00 a.m. and again from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Juvenile cases are
handled from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
For your convenience, court payments may be placed in the City Water Department’s

The City of Bridge City Police Department is located at 2290 Texas Avenue.
Hours for the administrative offices are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday
through Friday.
