Texans affected by Hurricane
Harvey now have until November 30, 2017, to register for federal assistance. The
deadline was November 24, however, an additional six days now gives survivors
more time through the Thanksgiving holiday.

If denied, for disaster assistance after Hurricane Harvey you should read
your FEMA determination letters carefully.
In some instances, you may only need to provide missing documentation to be
eligible for assistance. For more information

Individuals affected by Hurricane Harvey can apply for DUA (Disaster Unemployment Assistance) online or by calling a Texas Workforce Commission Tele-Center at 800-939-6631. Further information about DUA and a link to the online application for unemployment benefits is available on the Texas Workforce Commission website at
