The City Attorney's Office provides legal advice and recommendations to the Mayor, City Council, City Manager and other City employees.
The City Council is the legislative and governing body of the City of Bridge City and consists of a Mayor and six Council members. The Council enacts local legislation, and its members are the City’s decision makers.
The City Manager is hired by the City Council, and is responsible for managing the day-to-day affairs of the City. This includes the management of the City workforce, and the development, presentation, and monitoring of the City budget.
City Secretary (Secretaria de la Ciudad)
The City Secretary is an officer of the City who is appointed by the City Council. This office is responsible for maintaining and posting City Council meeting documents, insuring ordinances are published, managing City records, and a number of other administrative duties.
