How to Transfer Service Within the City
If you have a current account with the City of Bridge City and are simply moving from one location to another within the city, your services can remain uninterrupted by completing the TRANSFER OR DISCONNECT SERVICES form. For your convenience, we allow service at both locations for two weeks. There is a transfer fee of $25.00.
If you require more time, we request you complete an application for service at the new location and pay the $125.00 deposit.
You must also submit a copy of your valid state identification as well as a copy of the rental agreement or proof of ownership for the new service address.
You may come in person to transfer services or email the required form and documents to ub@bridgecitytex.com. Please be sure to call (409) 735-6801 to verify receipt.
TRANSFER REQUESTS CANNOT BE PROCESSED MORE THAN TWO (2) WEEKS IN ADVANCE.
